Holiday!Given my impressive amount of banked overtime and unused holidays, my boss forced me to take some time off. Really. I have this entire week off to do absolutely nothing. No plans, no travel, just sweet nothing. I feel like my creative muscles are about to atrophy. I've been forcing myself to do SOMETHING creative every day in attempts to remedy that, and so far I've stuck to it for about a week now. I was listening to this song on my iPod as our plane was landing Montreal in August. Every time I hear it now, I think of that amazing, ridiculous, excessive, out-of-this-world fun vacation with 15+ of my dear friends. It actually kind of makes me sick with nostalgia to hear it. It really was the best vacation I've had.

Oh, kickboxing – look what you do to me! Buried under all that sports tape are 5 (yes, 5) bandages, strategically placed over all manner of blister. My mother says this makes me look like "a real althete". I think it makes me look like I'm falling apart.
